Project Summary
Andrew was asked by the Continuing Education Department of the University of Calgary to build a 14-hour, 5-week in-class intermediate course on Microsoft Excel. He was given a textbook to use, broke it down into slides and assessments to meet the intended course outcomes and instruct ICT416: Microsoft Excel Level 2.
Course Outcomes included:
- Use name ranges
- Use intermediate formulas in a worksheet
- Use conditional formatting
- Work with and arrange worksheet panes and windows
- Create and work with charts
- Add and work with graphic images (shapes and pictures)
- Practice methods of organizing data
- Work with tables
- Analyze data
- Search worksheets for values
- Make workbooks more accessible
- Use hyperlinks in a worksheet
- Import and export data between other applications
