Our Approach
We kicked off the project with a comprehensive discovery call. James was eager to share his thoughts, so we interviewed him extensively and were able to gain an understanding of his three main areas of service: therapy, consulting and assessment, as well as the target audience and motivational factors applicable to each.
From there, we analyzed the websites of several competitors, with James conveying the elements he liked, and disliked, for each. This allowed us to develop a sitemap to outline the website, along with creating a list of relevant search (SEO) terms and get a good idea of the design and content elements needed for the project.
Using this information, we were able to further expand on these elements, building out the content and design, structured around the key goal of getting website visitors to book an online appointment, before developing out the final website.
The result is a sleek and user-friendly website designed to welcome and motivate potential clients and ultimately obtain consultation bookings. Pictures of young adults are used to signal James’ primary client base, without excluding those who fall outside of it. The three service pages use unique verbiage specific to each audience. An ‘About’ page highlights James qualifications and methodology, presenting him in a relatable and friendly light. In addition to being an informational and educational hub, the site also serves as a comprehensive booking platform.
