Instructional Design (Online Asynchronous): 3 Levels of MS Word & MS Excel Courses
Project Summary
Bow Valley College needed to update its online continuing education course offering of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to Office 2016. Using the Microsoft Office Word 2016: Parts 1-3 and Microsoft Office Excel 2016: Parts 1-3 books by Logical Operations, Andrew designed and developed 3 levels of Microsoft Word 2016 and Microsoft Excel 2016 courses (Introduction, Intermediate, and Advanced). The courses were developed for online modality on the Brightspace by D2L learning management system platform. Online modules were designed following multimedia theories, quizzes and assignments were developed to assess the learners learning, and discussion boards were created to encourage engagement between amongst learners and instructor to develop the online community.
